What We Do
We offer culturally-sensitive, mindfulness-based interventions and strategies for schools, communities and individuals. These workshops, trainings and consulting are designed for your environment.
Programs and Life Skills that we Offer:
Working in conjunction with the Department of Pediatrics at John Hopkins Bayview and Elev8 Baltimore, this initiative was a three-year randomized controlled trial, studying the effects of mindfulness on urban middle school students at 3 public schools in Baltimore City. D-Stress, a health-focused program within Elev8, is a 12 week course, set on positively influencing the youth of Baltimore City. This program offers a number of ‘life’ solutions, including mindfulness meditation, breathing exercises, mindful movement and the tools for effective communication, as well as offering the coping skills that may be used to deal with the chronic stress of daily life, especially in a difficult city.
Working in conjunction with University of Maryland, Social Work Community Outreach Service to effect climate change in a Baltimore City Public School. This year-long intervention consisted of weekly mindfulness and character education classes and supporting a peace room for one-to-one student support.

Blossom and Grow offers an annual summer camp to explore nature, our bodies and our world though yoga, art and play!. By working on personal development and wholeness, participants will be more prepared to deal with the challenges of life and take time to enjoy and be playful. While including, aspects of all developmental youth outcomes, as established by the Partnerships for After School and Summer Education, Blossom and Grow most directly addresses Responsibility and Autonomy, Belonging and Membership and Self-Awareness and Spirituality.
